Former Formula One driver turned cult hero Taki Inoue has affirmed his believe that he is one of the worst drivers in the history of the sport following his eighteen-race spell in the mid-nineties.
The Japanese driver drove one race for Simtek in 1994 before spending a whole season with Footwork during 1995, recording a best finish of ninth at the Canadian Grand Prix that year as the last on-track finisher. In fact, Inoue failed to finish on the lead lap of any grand prix, and he has made light of his escapades in the sport during an interview with Red Bull.
