With Sebastian Vettel unusually suffering KERS issues over the Japanese Grand Prix weekend and during the final qualifying session, Mark Webber described his pole position as a 'hollow' one. The Aussie managed to take provisional pole position on his first run before betting it on his second lap, taking the top spot on the grid by almost two tenths of a second. Vettel will start alongside him on the front row but Webber is happy with his performance and to start from the front of the grid on his final visit to Suzuka with the Formula 1 circus.
