Charles Pic said his 18th place finish in Suzuka was a ‘fair result’ following a drive through penalty at the start of the race and said it showed the team never stop fighting.
Pic, 23, was handed a drive through penalty after qualifying for going through a red light at the end of the pitlane.
He also had a 10 place grid penalty carried over from Korea after notching up three reprimands, despite that he started in 20th place thanks to penalties handed out to Adrian Sutil and Jules Bianchi.
