van der Garde hoping to return to previous performance levels

After a couple of tough races Caterham driver Giedo van der Garde is hoping the Indian and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will see a return of the performance levels we saw from him over the summer. “Korea and Japan were two quite tough weeks with races that didn’t go to plan for me so I want to get back to the performance levels that have been building up since Hungary at the next two races in India and Abu Dhabi.” van der Garde said. The Dutchmans Japanese Grand Prix ended before the first corner last Sunday when he made contact with Marussia driver Jules Bianchi heading into the first corner. van der Garde said said the data showed his impact with the barrier registered around 20 g’s,...
