Renault have downplayed concerns that next season's Championship could be won or lost on fuel saving.
Next season fuel efficiency will come into play as fuel will be limited to 100kg per race with teams typically using 160kgs at present. Fuel flow will also be limited.
This has sparked some fears that instead of racing flat out, drivers will be forced to cruise in a bid to save fuel.
However, Renault F1's technical director Naoki Tokunaga is confident the racing will be as "exciting" as it is today.
