Presidential candidate David Ward believes the FIA has proved it is "not fit for purpose" after they admitted the electoral process was "confusing".
Although the ballot is a mere six weeks away, the FIA has proposed a change to system that will see a reduction in the number of support candidates should have on the presidential list, which is to be submitted between October 25 and November 15.
Current laws state that each candidate must have 17 members - coming from both FIA mobility and sporting representatives - backing him, but that number could be reduced to 11.
