Renault's F1's deputy managing director Rob White has revealed that his company warned their F1 rivals that the new minimum weight was too low.
Although Formula One's minimum weight is set to increase by 48kgs next season, all that weight is expected to go towards the new V6 engines and the Energy Recovery Systems.
And with reports that teams are struggling to get down to the limit, the future of Formula One's heavier drivers are on the line.
