Toro Rosso, Force India miss Q2 cut
There will be no team for the home crowd to support in the final phase of qualifying for the Indian Grand Prix, as both Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil missed progression to the pole position shoot-out.The Force India duo were unable to improve their positions significantly enough to escape the 'drop zone', eventually winding up twelfth and 13th respectively, and will be joined on the sidelines by both Toro Rosso drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne, Williams' Valtteri Bottas and Sauber's Esteban Gutierrez, the Mexican unable to match the exploits of team-mate Nico Hulkenberg – who made it through – after opting to complete just a single run right at the end of the 15-minute...
