Sahara Force India co-owner Vijay Mallya says that Formula 1 cannot ignore the potential that India has to offer.
India joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2011 but there will not be a race at the Buddh International Circuit in 2014.
Officials at the circuit have stressed that the event will return to Formula 1 in early 2015.
'India is an economy that cannot be ignored,' says Mallya.
'This country has enormous potential, not just for Sahara Force India, but in terms of all the partners and stakeholders in Formula One.'
