F1 2013 – Lotus set to secure new investment

The Lotus F1 team are reportedly set to secure some new investment with reports suggesting a deal has been done with Quantum motorsports.The deal involves Genii capital, owners of the Lotus F1 team, selling a 35% stake in the team to Quantum.The funding means that Kimi Raikkonen should finally be paid and the chances of Nico Hulkenberg joining the team have now increased, with the Quantum owners saying they would like Hulkenberg in the team.Mansoor Ijaz head of Quantum motorsport told autosport “I will even go out as far as to say that it has now been completed from our side in terms of what has to be done.” “We have apologised to Kimi, we intend to not only make sure that they are...
