Michael: Teams will be 'on the limit' to get 2014 cars ready

McLaren sporting director Sam Michael is expecting teams to be pushed to the limit to get their 2014 F1 cars ready for the start of next season. Despite there being almost three months until the start of winter testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain, Michael believes it will be tight for teams to get their 2014 challengers ready for their on-track debut. Next season will see the debut of brand new regulations including a move to V6 Turbo engines. When asked by AUTOSPORT how much of a challenge it will be to ready the 2014 machinery for winter testing, which starts on January 8th, he said: 'Absolutely, it will be on the limit.'
