F1 2013 – Davide Valsecchi likely to stand in for Kimi Raikkonen
With news of Kimi Raikkonen leaving the Lotus F1 team to have back surgery, the rumour mill is alive with talk of who his replacement will be.Although no official statement has been given it is highly likely that GP 2 driver and Lotus reserve driver Davide Valsecchi will step in for Raikkonen at the remaining 2 grands prix.Nico Hulkenberg has naturally been linked with the seat with many expecting him to join the Lotus team permanently for the 2014 season, however his manager has said it’s “not likely” he will join the team for the remaining 2 races.
