Smedley to follow Felipe Baby to Williams?

After it was confirmed yesterday that Felipe Massa will be racing for Williams in 2014, attention has now turned to Rob Smedley to see if he will follow the Brazilian driver back to the UK next season. Smedley has worked as Massa's race engineer at Ferrari since 2006, and the two have forged a strong partnership over the past ten years with their radio transmissions creating something of a cult following over the years. However, with Massa set to be replaced by the prickly Kimi Raikkonen at Maranello next season, it is difficult to see Smedley working as amicably with the Finn who is known for his no-nonsense approach to communication.
