Austin 'the most important weekend of my year' – Perez

With uncertainty surrounding his future at McLaren, Sergio Perez heads to the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, looking to not only give his ‘home crowd' something to cheer about, but also to prove to the team that he deserves to be retained for 2014. The Mexican border is just 250 miles away from the Circuit of the Americas and Perez can't wait to drive in front of his home crowd. He is hopeful that a strong points finish is possible.
