Perez preparing for vital weekend

Sergio Perez has targeted a strong result in at the Circuit of the Americas in what he regards as the "most important weekend of the year". The McLaren driver is expected to have a large number of supporters in Austin, with many Mexican fans making the trip north for the race weekend. Perez has been rumoured to be on the verge of being replaced by Kevin Magnussen after a disappointing season partnering Jenson Button, but the Mexican is eager to prove his class to the Woking-based team in Texas.
