Austin 'the most important weekend' of Perez's year
Getty Images Enlarge Sergio Perez says this weekend's US Grand Prix will be the most important of his year as doubts hang over his future in Formula One and he races in front of a large Mexican crowd. Stories have gathered pace in recent days that Perez is on his way out of McLaren at the end of this year and will be replaced by Kevin Magnussen. The team said on Monday that it had not yet signed any driver contracts for next year but it has been reported that the team has already decided on Magnussen in 2014.
