Maldonado 'very happy' with Williams exit

Pastor Maldonado says he is 'very happy' to leave the Williams F1 Team at the end of the 2013 season. The Grove based squad announced Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas as their 2014 line-up earlier in the week. He revealed that talks to leave the team have been on-going for a couple of months and he made his decision over the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. Speaking at the FOTA Fan Forum in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday he said: 'I am very happy. Since a couple of months I was in conversation with the team and I wanted to leave the team. That is it.
