Maldonado 'very happy' to leave Williams

Pastor Maldonado has said he is 'very happy' he will be leaving Williams at the end of this season and he thinks he has delivered more to the team this year than they have for him.Maldonado will be replaced by Felipe Massa in 2014, after the Brazilian was confirmed alongside Valtteri Bottas earlier this week.Williams have struggled this season and while the Venezuelan has nothing signed yet for 2014, he added that he is not disappointed he will be moving on.“No, I'm very happy to be leaving,” he said ahead of the United States Grand Prix, the penultimate round in the 2013 F1 World Championship. “I wanted to leave the team, and I'm happy about that.“It's been a tough year - a very...
