Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Sergio Perez says that McLaren's decision not to retain him for 2014 came as a shock. Perez was informed earlier in the week that he would not be racing for the team next season and McLaren has since confirmed that Kevin Magnussen will race alongside Jenson Button in 2014.
