Fernando Alonso has been given the all-clear to race in this weekend's United States Grand Prix after passing a medical check in Austin. Alonso suffered a bumpy ride across the Yas Marina Circuit run-off area in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago after a battle with the Toro Rosso of Jean-Eric Vergne. The impact registered at 25G and caused the FIA-mandated g-force alarm to go off, meaning he had to undergo compulsory medical checks after the race.
