Alonso passes fitness test, okay to race in Texas

Ferrari number one driver Fernando Alonso has been given the okay to race in the United States Grand Prix this weekend.Alonso had to undergo a medical examination on Thursday after injuring his back following a heavy landing in Abu Dhabi when he ran across a kerb to avoid the Toro Rosso of Jean-Eric Vergne following his final stop.
