Nico Hulkenberg revealed earlier in the week that he had been approached to take over Kimi Raikkonen's seat at Lotus F1 for the final two races of the season, but that he had turned it down. “We had an offer from Lotus and we talked about it,” the 26-year-old's manager Werner Heinz had told German newspaper Bild.
