Raikkonen surgery 'totally successful'

Kimi Raikkonen has undergone a successful operation on his back, according to the Lotus team. Raikkonen withdrew from the last two races of this season in order to have the operation on an old injury that was causing him a great deal of pain. The Ferrari-bound driver went into hospital on Thursday and should be able to begin to recovery next week. "As planned, Kimi Raikkonen underwent back surgery yesterday at The University Hospital of Strasbourg," Lotus said in a statement.
