Sebastian Vettel proved to be the one to beat around the Circuit of the Americas in FP2, quickly on long runs, short runs and both compounds. Having lost time in the first session, the drivers were quickly into the action with new Lotus signing Heikki Kovalainen posting a 1:40.335 to get the timesheets moving.
