Hamilton happier after chassis change

Lewis Hamilton says he is feeling more comfortable behind the wheel after Mercedes discovered and changed a cracked chassis ahead of the United States Grand Prix. The Briton, who was left to ponder his recent form after a trying Abu Dhabi race, tested the modifications for the first time at the Circuit of The Americas on Friday, admitting to reporters after the opening pair of sessions that his car's handling has improved. "After we changed the chassis yesterday, the car felt better to drive, particularly on the long run when it was pretty consistent, so that's a positive for me," said Hamilton, who finished the opening day just behind team-mate Nico Rosberg in fourth position....
