It has been a year for Sir Frank Williams' team that has been one that has been drought with difficulties along the way, but Finland's Valterri Bottas secured his second Q3 result in qualifying, having already achieved this feat in Montreal earlier this year. However, his team-mate Pastor Maldonado had traffic difficulties that saw the Venezuelan suffer another frustrating early exit in Q1, having been hampered by both Max Chilton and Esteban Gutierrez, who were subsequently penalised for impeding him.
