McLaren maintain carbon neutral status 19 November, 2013 McLaren Technology Centre Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, the world’s first carbon-neutral Formula 1 team, has re-confirmed its carbon-neutral status and highlighted the team’s environmental leadership by offsetting its carbon emissions. With the assistance of the team’s associate partner for sustainability, CNI UK, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes has invested in carbon projects which support a number of environmentally and socially responsible wind energy developments in India, China and Mexico.
