Formula E car undergoes first on-track test run

The car which all Formula E teams will use in the debut season of the new all-electric championship underwent its first on-track run this week. The Spark-Renault designed SRT_01E completed a successful test at the La Ferté Gaucher circuit near Choisy-le-Roi, France, with official test driver Lucas di Grassi behind the wheel. The test car was running with a battery at just 25% of the full power and didn't reach its maximum speed.
