Interlagos, BRAZIL, November 23rd, 2013 (F1Plus / Bruno Ferreira) - Fernando Alonso said that a mistake he made in his qualifying lap prevented him from making the front row for the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Spanish driver was fighting for the top positions at Interlagos, but ran wide in Curva do Lago and missed the chance of a clean lap. “I went off in turn four. I braked very late and I missed the corner,” he said. “I lost a lot of time. Not obviously to beat Seb [Vettel], he’s too far in front of us. But I think for second place it was not difficult. I lost something like seven or eight tenths. I think second could be possible but obviously I’m not sad with third.”...
