Alonso sad that rain did not arrive

– Fernando Alonso was left to ponder what might have been after predicted rain showers failed to arrive during Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver finished as best of the rest behind the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, but claimed that while a podium finish serves as a positive end to his season, more was possible in wet conditions. "It was a difficult race for everyone," reflected Alonso. "Unfortunately the rain didn't come; I think we were more competitive in the wet conditions.
