We¿re ahead of the pack - Horner

Red Bull boss Christian Horner believes his team is already ahead in the development race ahead of the 2014 season. The Milton Keynes outfit secured its fourth consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' Championship titles in 2013, but under the new regulations that come into effect next year, the likes of Ferrari and Mercedes have been given an opportunity to challenge Red Bull's dominance. Some aspects of the new regulations leave development out of Red Bull's hands, but Horner says the manner in which the reigning champions racked up points in the second half of 2013 has allowed chief engineer Adrian Newey to start work on the 2014 car ahead of schedule.
