Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner says teams only have themselves to blame for the increase in costs for 2014. A number of significant regulation changes will come into force next season, including replacing the 2.4 litre V8 engine with a new V6 Turbo power unit and more powerful energy recovery systems.
