Pirelli set for Bahrain test this month

– Pirelli is planning to stage a private tyre test with three teams at the Bahrain International Circuit from December 17-19, the Italian manufacturer confirmed to GPUpdate.net on Tuesday. With next year's regulation overhaul requiring significant structural and compound changes, Pirelli has been pushing for further track time to aid the development of its latest product. And due to the lack of running on the brand's prototype rubber at the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix, with Friday's practice sessions heavily affected by rainfall, it has been made even more necessary.
