New Jersey organisers set sights on 2015
The organisers of the proposed Grand Prix of America in New Jersey have set their sights on holding the inaugural race in 2015 after it was postponed for another year today.
The event did hold a place on the FIA's provisional F1 calendar as part of a triple-header with Monaco and Canada, creating a logistical headache for the teams. However, the sport's governing body released the final calendar for 2014 today and omitted New Jersey, meaning that the race had been postponed for a second time after initially planning to debut in 2013. Nevertheless, the organisers remain as determined as ever for the race to go ahead in 2015.
