The event did hold a place on the FIA's provisional F1 calendar as part of a triple-header with Monaco and Canada, creating a logistical headache for the teams. However, the sport's governing body released the final calendar for 2014 today and omitted New Jersey, meaning that the race had been postponed for a second time after initially planning to debut in 2013.
