Todt retains FIA presidency

Jean Todt will stay on as president of the FIA after being voted in for another term in office. The former Ferrari team boss initially took the job in 2009, replacing the beleaguered Max Mosley. However, this year it was Todt who faced competition as David Ward briefly vied for the job. Ward, though, withdraw his candidacy last month, leaving Todt a clear road to another term in office. Todt's second term was confirmed FIA's Annual General Assembly in Paris on Friday. "Thank you for so strongly endorsing our Team," NF1 reports Todt as having said during his acceptance speech.
