Kubica wins inaugural FIA Personality of the Year award

Former F1 driver Robert Kubica won the new FIA Personality of the Year award on Friday night at the governing body's Prize-Giving Gala in Paris.The Pole, who was also presented with the WRC2 title trophy and who of course suffered that life changing accident back in 2011, was one of ten people to make the final list of nominees, along with four-time F1 world champion, Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull chief technical officer, Adrian Newey and Sauber F1 team principal, Monisha Kaltenborn.The winner was decided by votes cast by permanently accredited media of the FIA's world championships.Initially 80 names were put forward after members of the media selected their top three motor sport...
