Vettel helmet fetches record price at Wings for Life charity auction 10 December, 2013 Sebastian Vettel celebrates winning the German GP The helmet used by quadruple F1 World champion Sebastian Vettel during this year's German Grand Prix raised a record breaking 86,200 at a Bonhams auction, with the proceeds going to the Wings for Life charity. Vettel said, 'This is one of my favourite helmet designs from this season and it goes without saying that this was one of the most special races for me – my first ever home win.
