Vettel questions 'absurd' points change
F1 champion Sebastian Vettel has questioned the decision to alter the points system in place for the 2014 season.In a move announced by the FIA, double points will be awarded for the season finale in Abu Dhabi in a move designed to keep the title fight alive for longer.While the change would have had no impact on the 2013 title battle, it would have seen Vettel lose the title to Fernando Alonso in 2012 and the Red Bull man questioned whether or not it was a move that needed to be taken."Imagine at the last Bundesliga [German football league] match there would suddenly be double points," he was quoted as telling the German 'paper Sport Bild.
