Force India confirm Sergio Perez alongside Nico Hulkenberg for 2014
Force India has confirmed that Sergio Perez will partner Nico Hulkenberg at the Silverstone-based outfit in 2014. Perez, found himself without a drive in November, when the Mexican confirmed that he had been released by McLaren after just a single season with the team, with the Woking based-squad instead signing Formula Renault 3.5 Champion Kevin Magnussen for 2014.
Following weeks of speculation, Perez was officially unveiled as a Force India driver for 2014 by Team Principal and Managing Director Vijay Mallya on Thursday, at an event in London.
Perez will join Nico Hulkenberg at the team, with the German having been confirmed last week.
