Perez backs double points for season finale

Whilst the majority seem against the idea, Sergio Perez has come out in support of the plan to award double points at the season finale next year. The idea, which sees the Abu Dhabi victory worth 50 points instead of the usual 25, was branded "absurd" by world champion Sebastian Vettel and a recent poll conducted by The F1 Times found that 87.3 per cent* of our readers were also against the idea. The FIA is however proceeding with the idea and Perez, who announced he will partner Nico Hulkenberg at Force India next season, says it's a "positive" thing.
