Caterham passes chassis crash test
Caterham announced on Friday that the chassis of their 2014 car has been homologated after it passed a mandatory crash test earlier this week. The Crawley outfit is the second Formula One team to announce a successful crash test after Sauber revealed their results earlier this week. Caterham revealed that tests on both fuel cell integrity and the effects of frontal impact, in order for the team to start testing for the 2014 season. "We have successfully completed the two crash tests for homologation of our 2014 chassis," Caterham confirmed. "Great news for us."
