Booth: Marussia 'very close' to Chilton deal

Marussia team boss John Booth insists that the Anglo-Russian team is 'very close' to a deal with Max Chilton that will see the Briton stay on for the 2014 F1 season.Chilton enjoyed a steady debut in the sport this year as he took the chequered flag in each of the 19 races, giving him an F1 record as the first rookie to finish every race in their first season on the grid.While team-mate Jules Bianchi has already been retained for next year, Chilton's future has yet to be resolved, with the 22-year-old having made no secret of his desire to stay with Marussia again for 2014.Although a deal has yet to be struck, Booth insisted that discussions were moving forwards and said he expected an...
