Dennis: Never say never to Alonso return

McLaren chairman Ron Dennis says he would 'never say never' to Fernando Alonso returning to the team, despite the manner in which the Spaniard departed after a single season back in 2007.Alonso joined McLaren from Renault to form what looked set to be something of a dream team against rookie Lewis Hamilton, only for his relationship with the Woking-based team to fall apart in dramatic fashion.The two-time champion had moved to McLaren expecting to be the lead driver but was left far from happy when it became apparent that Hamilton had been given equal status.Clearly unhappy with the situation, Alonso's relationship with the team became increasingly fractious as the year wore on, with...
