Irvine: Double points embarrassing for F1

Former Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine says he feels that the decision to bring in double points for the final race of the 2014 F1 season is 'embarrassing', and that those who made the decision 'should be ashamed of themselves'.The outspoken Irish racer, who also competed for Jordan and Jaguar during his F1 career, pulled no punches in his views on the controversial decision, which has been made to try and maintain interest in the championship race through to the season finale.Fans have widely hit out at the decision, while current champion Sebastian Vettel said he felt it was 'absurd' that the race in Abu Dhabi would now be worth twice as much as any other on the calendar.Speaking to the...
