Van der Garde talking to three teams

– Giedo van der Garde's management has informed GPUpdate.net that it is in discussions with all three teams that still have a seat available for the 2014 Formula 1 campaign, Caterham, Sauber and Marussia. The Dutchman recently revealed that he was talking to current team Caterham, Sauber and Force India about a seat, although the latter option has now evaporated after the team confirmed Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez. Since then, rumours have grown that van der Garde is pushing hard to secure a deal at Sauber, where he would become Adrian Sutil's team-mate after the German completed a switch from Force India last week.
