Pirelli: Nothing to worry about

Pirelli says there is no cause for concern following Nico Rosberg's tyre blow-out during testing in Bahrain. Mercedes' run at the tyre test was brought to a premature end on Thursday after Rosberg suffered the nasty scare. The German tweeted that the full speed, 320km/h blow-out had left him needing to "get some toilet paper", but later deleted the message from his Twitter account. Pirelli have subsequently released a statement saying the tyres used by Rosberg were a prototype that will not be used during the 2014 season.
