Allison: Building whole car a nice advantage

Ferrari will benefit from building both its engine and chassis under the same roof when F1 enters a new technical era in 2014.That is the claim of technical director James Allison, who oversees the Scuderia's transition into new engine and aerodynamic rules next season. Ferrari is the only team to have consistently constructed all elements of its F1 cars, and Allison – who has seen both sides of the coin having worked with the Prancing Horse's rivals over the years – is confident that the Italian giant can make the most of the situation as it attempts to end the recent dominance of Red Bull in 2014.“Being able to build the engine and chassis together is definitely a nice advantage...
