Red Bull reshuffles staff after departures

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull has announced that Pierre Waché will be promoted to head of the Vehicle Dynamics department with immediate effect. Waché joined Red Bull in June last year, having previously worked for Sauber. The decision to promote Waché comes after the departure of two team members earlier in the week. Mark Ellis and Giles Wood both left Red Bull for championship rivals Mercedes. Ellis will take up the position of Performance Director while Wood becomes Chief Engineer [of] Simulation and Development at the Brackley based team. Ellis and Wood will take up their roles in June next year.
