Montezemolo: Double points too artifical

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has criticised the recent plan to offer double points for Formula 1′s season finale, saying it is 'too artificial'. It was voted in favour by F1 teams, the FIA and Formula One Management earlier this month but the idea sparked a negative reaction amongst fans and media. It was even branded as 'absurd' by four-time champion Sebastian Vettel. 'There has been this decision to give a lot of points at the last race, but I am not enthusiastic about it,' di Montezemolo told media on Thursday. 'It looks too much artificial. We will see.
